Join us for the Missouri River Cleanup at the 7th Annual Canoes For A Cause on Friday, August 9. Here is the schedule of events:
- 9-10 a.m.: Coffee and donuts at Paddle Trap
- 10-1 p.m.: Local River Cleanup
- 1-3 p.m.: Free Social, BBQ, and refreshing Leinie Shandy at Paddle Trap
Jerome Distributing will donate 50 cents for every case equivalent of Leinenkugel's sold in the months of June, July and August to keep the Missouri River clean.
Jerome Distributing and Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company's Canoes for a Cause campaign supports local efforts to clean up the Missouri river and preserve the region's water quality. With beer being 92 percent water, breweries like Leinenkugel rely on local water sources, which is one of the driving forces behind the brewery's initiative to maintain clean waterways. Other cities including Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Cleveland have hosted previous events.
